This is the first message, my New Year's resolution is to do a sketch every day of the year. So far I'm doing OK having done 3 in 1 day. I had the same resolution last year but lost my way by the 5th January, so hopefully if I stick them here it'll make me keep to it. This is a view of Gas Street basin in the middle of Birmingham looking towards Brindleyplace under Broad Street. Tried to give the impression of the darkness but didn't really get it with the shading.
